The drinks were very poorly made they seemed to be mostly mixers and very overpriced. The table limits are VERY high even to Las Vegas standards.
Unfortunately, the area is still a slum with many closed businesses, people hanging out on the corners way past dark, and a feeling that I did not know if I would be safe walking back to my car.
As we were promised if we voted to put the Casino on the West Side of town that it would revitalize the area. The location of the casino is rather distraught. The dealers were rather rude and seemed to be more intrigued on watching the clock than actually working. The casino floor was rather dirty, unkempt, and rather dirty. As I soon discovered, the people playing most were not there for the evening, but instead had been playing all day. There was hardly a table or slot machine that was not occupied. Under first impression, the casino floor was packed with people. Unfortunately, my decision to enjoy an evening there was less than spectacular. I love Las Vegas and was excited that I could gamble and have a good time in my own back yard. After many promises and years of waiting, we finally have a casino in Columbus, Ohio.
